Newborn baby photoshoot Kent; Taking time out for yourself and your newborn baby may be the last thing on your mind in the first few days and weeks after giving birth. That’s why I pride myself in making your newborn photoshoot as seamless and comfortable as you deserve. Your newborn will change so quickly in the first few weeks; let me capture those tiny toes and that button nose. That fine hair that graces your baby’s back and shoulders, your baby naturally curled up in the fetal position, still adjusting to not being in mummy’s tummy anymore. I love capturing individual details that are so unique to every baby and so beautiful to capture. My natural newborn sessions enable me to photograph your newborn as they are so that when you look back at your photographs, they spark such special memories.
I recommend your photoshoot takes place within the first two weeks of your baby’s arrival. My styling of the baby is very organic, using light and neutral tones in my props including blankets and hats. The photoshoot is very much baby led and need to allow up to 3 hours for the shoot, so we can take a break for feeds, changes or just time out for a cuppa if needed.
I offer home sessions and studio photoshoots, and take very natural, reportage images of your baby and can include shots of siblings and parents. I’ll also use a few simple props to take slightly styled photographs of your baby.
We all know our little ones will make an appearance when they are good and ready – so with this is mind I am completely flexible with your booking. I recommend you book your photoshoot just after your 20 week scan. I only have a limited of sessions booked per month, so please do contact me as soon as you can to see if your due date is available. All I require to secure your booking is payment of the session fee as a deposit. Once your baby has arrived, let me know and we can go ahead and confirm a date and time.
Once your session has been booked, I’ll send you a confirmation email which will include details of the session and information on what to expect from the session and how best to prepare. It will also include information on when you will receive your images and next steps. Further to this I am always happy to schedule a call to chat things through or over email.
